It’s Holy Week. As a Christian, there is no week of the year that is more important. The commercialism of Christmas might say otherwise to the masses, and some Christians, but this week is it, this is what it’s all about.
To be clear, without this week, without the Lord’s Passion, without the Lord’s Death and Resurrection, there is no Christianity.
Our Monsignor challenged us on Sunday. He challenged us to go to Confession, one of the most important of Sacraments. I know many Catholics who think they do not need Confession, but he made a profound point. By not going to Confession, we are saying to Jesus that everything he did for us was unnecessary, was in vain.
I for one, do not want to send that message to Him.
